Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
